Another question for the Internets!

I've lately been obsessed with John Vanderslice's Cellar Door, and noticed right off that the song "Promising Actress" was quite clearly based on Mulholland Drive. I didn't think too much of it; hey, if he's set two William Blake poems as well as "Fall 1961" and "The Masque of Anarchy" to music (note to Jay: the Peterloo Massacre was about parliamentary reform and corn laws, not the labor movement per se, though the issues at the heart of the massacre were certainly related to social class and economics), I don't think writing a song inspired by a movie really isn't that much of a creative stretch.

Then I noticed that "When It Hits My Blood" is quite clearly based on Requiem for a Dream. Those of you who know the movie or the book can recognize the major plot points, I'm sure:

Right. So, now I'm obsessed: Are the rest of the songs based on movies, too? 'Cause if they are, I really, really want to see the movie on which "Up Above the Sea" is based. Here are the lyrics to all of Cellar Door. Anyone recognize anything else?

(No, not really expecting anyone to read through all the damn lyrics to see if they recognize a movie.)

(Also, another movie-related thing: In Donnie Darko, the English teacher played most execrably by Drew Barrymore notes that the most beautiful phrase in the English language is "cellar door." None of the songs in this album seem to fit Donnie Darko, however.)
