Eric's heart stopped yesterday. There's not much to say, other the fact that I'm heartbroken and still processing.

Yeah, I'd say so. The other night, I saw her sitting by the window, meowing and meowing really sadly. Not agitated, because she wasn't pawing at the window and her tail wasn't going crazy, but she was meowing really loudly and a whole lot. I thought she wanted love and attention, but then I tracked her line of sight and noticed that she was looking right at the neighbor's cat across the way, which was sitting at the windowsill. That just about killed me. She's never been alone, and even if she and Eric didn't get along all the time, it must be really weird for her to be a solitary cat all of a sudden.

OH MY GOD. I'd forgotten about El Taco Grande. Dude, we had such good times on Tribe.

Hitlercat is so much less snooty these days and has become crazy yelling velcro kitty instead. I keep needing to dose her with cat nip and copious amounts of snuggling. And I mean copious even by my standards. We need to get her a kitten to love on and boss around, because that lady is clearly lonely.

Poor little lonely velcro hitler. Poor you. Man. Zot was absolutely inconsolable after Cat died...she'd just sit there and yell or meow quietly, too, and could not stand to be in a room on her own. I knew how she felt.

I'm really sorry to hear it. It was so hard for us to lose Dalilah this Summer -- and we had a lot longer to prepare ourselves. I can only imagine how sad it is for it to come on so suddenly. Much love to you.
