FWIW, not only could I follow all of these fine, but the first brought back head-desking memories of my Legal Processes in Urban Planning class, and I'm like 98% positive I correctly got the Scalia/Thomas joke in the last panel.
... The fact that I just typed "Scalia/Thomas" even though I DID NOT MEAN IT THAT WAY is giving me a vicious case of the all-overs. Yeeesh.
I'm kind of bummed they didn't summarize the most painful part of first-year law school: civil procedure. I'm not sure ANYONE could make that pithy and funny, though. Oh, and contracts.
Also, my favorite summary of criminal procedure of all time, as voiced by my crim pro professor: "Constitutional Law is the study of the rights you should have. Criminal Procedure is the study of the rights you actually have, as interpreted by overworked, cynical policemen and nine old, over-educated, over-privileged white guys who can't get fired."

I had a response. It was a fairly generic dick joke, far inappropriate for my general usage and far tamer than most comments that come out of misshepeshu's mouth. But really, it was more information than I needed to make public. So in deference to my physicist upbringing, I leave the dick joke as an exercise to the reader.
