Annuals, February 28 (Wednesday), Doug Fir. I can't recommend these guys enough; they're one of my new favorite bands and I'll post some songs of theirs in a locked entry so you guys can fall in love with them too and then thank my ass for introducing you to so much awesomeness.
Crosstide, March 14 (Tuesday), Tonic Lounge. Hot local band;
mustela has just introduced me to them, and they sound pretty goddamn rad.
John Vanderslice, April 6 (Friday), Doug Fir. If you like The Decemberists, odds are quite good you'll enjoy Vanderslice's literate, thoughtful songwriting. Also, his whiny-ass voice.
Electric 6, April 25 (Wednesday), Doug Fir. Awesome wacky funtimes by the dudes who brought you "Danger! High Voltage!" and "Gay Bar."
Kaiser Chiefs, April 26 (Thursday), Crystal Ballroom. Brit poppish punkish goodness. You wantses to go with me, yesss you do.
So, to summarize for those of you following along at home, I'm going to these shows between February and April:
Kronos Quartet, February 11 (Sunday), 3 p.m., Kaul Auditorium.
