Nothing rhymes with orange

Oh dear sweet Christ, I love this T-shirt so much. I don't know why it cracks me up so. I must be some kind of produce sadist.

It also brings back memories of watching borktron play The Curse of Monkey Island and the song Guybrush Threepwood's crew sings, which ends with Guybrush coming up with the line "We'll surely avoid scurvy if we all eat an orange..."

Silly anecdote time: We were playing the game in his bedroom during one of my visits to him in Cave Junction, and his mother called for us to see if we wanted to have dinner with them at some restaurant. We were so absorbed in the action, we didn't hear her. So his family left for dinner without us, leaving Michael and me to wander around the completely dark house in confusion after completing the game. Later, we talked to Michael's mom about this, and she kind of gave the two of us The Look of Motherly Disapproval. It was pretty clear she was convinced we were indulging in teh sexx0ring, and our protestations that we were playing Monkey Island were greeted with mild skepticism. It amuses me this day that she underestimated our nerdiness so.

p.s. This pillow fight T-shirt also cracks me up. PILLOW DEATH MATCH, AHOY! Must remember to get this and wear it the next time another public pillow fight erupts.

I finally gave in and purchased the t-shirt that said "Knowing is half the battle" and in larger letters underneath "VIOLENCE IS THE OTHER HALF"
