Via tinaconnolly: Free Geek was broken into on Saturday and thousands of dollars of equipment stolen. Here's the Free Geek news release, and here's the write-up in Boing Boing.

If you have any spare money, Free Geek accepts cash donations. They're always a worthy organization to give your money to, but I imagine your help is appreciated more than ever right now.

Edited to add: KiloSeven has a webpage that shows you samples of what the GeekNumbers look like on the stolen Free Geek equipment. Thanks to clackablog for pointing that out.
